The Union Health Ministry has debunked the fake notice that allegedly indicates that the Indian Nursing Council has announced that BSc Nursing candidates can be held at par with junior doctors.
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare confirmed that the notice was fake and shared a copy on Twitter – as clarification. The authorities requested the public to avoid circulating the fake news.
The superfluous notice also claimed that the work and responsibilities of a Bachelor in Nursing were at par with an MBBS graduate. Hence, they can be deemed equally qualified in a healthcare setup.
