In this video, Dr. Sunil Gupta, Additional Director, NCDC, will tell us how to recognize an antimicrobial resistance patient in this video. The patient will not respond to those particular antibiotics as he is expected to respond. Dr. Sunil will give example and explain it. When a particular antibiotic is prescribed and expected to act within a given period, but when he doesn’t respond, then it is taken as a early sign of antimicrobial resistance.
Dr. Sunil Gupta is a Additional Director, HAG & HOD at National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC)
