How often should I get my vitamin D level?

In this video, Dr. K K Aggarwal, Padma Shri Awardee, Editor-in-chief IJCP Publications, will discuss how often should one get vitamin D levels checked. Unless there is obesity or mal-absorption syndrome or he is on anti-tubercular treatment or with symptoms of osteomalecia , then it should be checked. There is no need for monitoring unless the doctor feels that the levels are dropping and after 3-4 months the test can be done while on maintenance therapy.
