How to test cognitive function?

There are five tests to diagnose cognitive function. Immediate memory – while talking suddenly divert the patient, the patient will forget about the talking. In this, there can be impairment of naming objects or names. Also ask about calculation, they might forget the calculation. Ask for near or far distinguishing object. Also, patient with cognitive impairment cannot reason out and might have impaired language.
