Is there any alternative definition for YOGA in modern medicine?

In this video, Dr. K K Aggarwal, Padma Shri Awardee, Editor-in-chief IJCP Publications, will discuss if there is any alternative definition for YOGA in modern medicine. In modern medicine, Yoga can be described as a journey from sympathetic to parasympathetic mode. There are two systems in our body, sympathetic and parasympathetic. Sympathetic symbolizes wear and tear and parasympathetic symbolizes healing. Dr. Aggarwal explains that when we try to shift ourselves acutely or chronically and try to live a parasympathetic lifestyle, this is known as YOGA.
