Should all patient of CKD be given iron?

In this video, Dr. K K Aggarwal, President Heart Care Foundation of India and Group Editor in Chief MEDtalks, will discuss whether all CKD patients be given iron. Many of CKD patients are on erythropoiesis stimulating agents as they might be suffering from iron deficiency anemia and respond to IV iron. Two tests are done in these patients: serum ferritin and transferrin saturation. He will explain the values and their indication.
