Should AMR and MDR TB not be worked under a common program?

In this video, Dr. Sunil Gupta, Additional Director, NCDC, will talk about AMR and MDR TB programs to work together. Currently, for tuberculosis prevention, there is already Revised National Tuberculosis Control Program (RNTCP) program ongoing which also addresses the drug resistance components of tuberculosis. Nowadays, the AMR program is of recent initiative of Ministry of Health and is in talks of integrating all drug resistance issues pertaining to different pathogens like bacteria, viruses, etc. under one program.
