What are optimal vitamin D levels in Indian population?

In this video, Dr. K K Aggarwal, Padma Shri Awardee, Editor-in-chief IJCP Publications, will discuss about the optimal vitamin D levels in Indian population in this video. The vitamin D levels should be between 20 – 40 nanograms/decilitre. For healthy population, the levels should be more than 20 ng/dl. He tells us further than for elderly people or people who have bone disorder, the levels should be more than 30 ng/dl is required. He will further inform that having more than 40 ng/dl will give no advantage. And if the levels are less than 10 ng/dl, then immediate supplements are required.
