In this video, Dr. Ramneek Mahajan, Director - Orthopedics & Joint Replacement, Max Smart Super Specialty Hospital, New Delhi, will talk about the complications after knee replacement. He states that the most common complication of the knee replacement is the infection. Pulmonary embolism, deep vein thrombosis, clots formation are seen after knee replacement. Dr. Mahajan further says that role of early mobilization and with the help of blood thinners can prevent risk of clots and deep vein thrombosis.

Visiting Orthopaedic Surgeon in the Fortis Hospital from 2009 to 2014.
