According to the literature, the considerations for heart transplant are: whether the patient is in cardiogenic shock, intractable arrhythmia, refractory congenital heart disease, refractory angina, or class IV heart failure. If the patient is stable then it is not necessary that heart transplant is needed and multiple options can be considered.
