What are the medication considered safe in diabetes kidney disease?

In diabetes kidney disease patients, sulphonylureas are avoided. The safest sulphonylureas given is glipizide which is short acting and other is gliclazide. Metformin can be continued till the eGFR is 30. He will further discuss the dose but will also highlight that all sulphonylureas should be avoided.
