In this video, Dr. Ramneek Mahajan, Director - Orthopedics & Joint Replacement, Max Smart Super Specialty Hospital, New Delhi, will discuss the results of total knee replacement. Many patients with satisfied results of total knee replacement have been reported. It has been published that 80 – 82 % of success rate in 20 years of knee replacement surgery. He states that the older implants are still in good state. Also, the new implants are introduced as a modified version of the old implants and which can last for approximately 30 years. He will also highlight that the success rate of knee implants are documented in Australian and Canadian registries. Also, the new version of implants have US FDA approval.
