What everybody should know about dentures?

Dr. Mahesh Verma, Padma Shri Awardee, President of Indian Academy of Restorative Dentistry (IARD) and Vice President of Dental Council of India, will brief about dentures in this video. Dentures are something artificial used to place the missing teeth. Dr. Mahesh will explain we lose teeth because of our poor oral hygiene, dental caries and gum diseases. Dentures are of many types – partial or complete dentures for few or all teeth. Also dentures are removable and fixed types. Also, there are immediate and conventional dentures which are done a couple of weeks later after the extraction of teeth. The dentures also depends on the each patient such as which type are most suitable. He will also talk about metal, ceramic dentures. Dentures also need cleaning and should be maintained. Removable dentures needs to be removed at night and store in a container of water.
