What is a TAPVC?

In this video, Dr. Smita Mishra, Paediatric Cardiologist, Associate Director - Jaypee Hospital, will explain about TAPVC. TAPVC is the total anomalous pulmonary venous return. It is a disease where pulmonary veins don’t give their pure blood to left side of heart rather are connected to right side of heart. If the baby presents with a high lung pressure, then baby becomes very sick within 72 hours of life and needs a very early surgery.
