What is IMA non- violence policy?

In this video, Dr. K K Aggarwal, Padma Shri Awardee, Editor-in-chief IJCP Publications, will discuss about the IMA non-violence policy. The policy states that IMA has a zero tolerance for patients or their relatives to indulge into violence. Dr. Aggarwal further states that doctors are protected by the various state laws. The patient doesn’t have any right of violence on doctors or medical establishments. He also states that non-violence approach should also be present in doctors also which is in terms of non-violence in mind, actions, thoughts and speech. Doctors need to follow the principle of humanity. Also, every doctor should be a role model to the society in terms of health care.
