In stable coronary artery disease, the symptoms are predictable and producible. Predictable symptoms means walking a particular distance might precipitate angina symptoms and on rest the symptoms disappear. If the patient is asymptomatic, the next step is thread mill test or stress test. He further says that if patient is stable and has no symptoms then medical management can be continued.
