What is the genesis of the word lunatic?

In this video, Dr. K K Aggarwal, President Heart Care Foundation of India and Group Editor in Chief MEDtalks, will explain the word lunatic and its origin. The word lunatic has originated from the word lunar which means moon. He will explain about the lunar cycle which is from full moon to new moon. During the full moon, according to the Vedic literature, the mind gets disturbed. Lunatics behave differently during full moon. In full moon, there is water retention and are easily angered due to turmoil of thoughts. During new moon, there is more depression and dreams of negative thoughts or things.
