What is the MCI stand on euthanasia?

In this video, Dr. K K Aggarwal, President Heart Care Foundation of India and Group Editor in Chief MEDtalks, talks about euthanasia and what is the MCI stand on it. There is a section about euthanasia in Medical Council of India and it is unethical to practice in India. But in specific occasions, the question of withdrawing supporting devices to sustain cardiopulmonary function such as ventilators, oxygen therapy, etc. will be decided by a team of doctors of the patient. They will decide whether to withdraw these devices or not depending on the patient’s condition.
