What is the medical management of osteoarthritis?
In this video, Dr. Ramneek Mahajan, Director - Orthopedics & Joint Replacement, Max Smart Super Specialty Hospital, New Delhi, will talk about the medical management of osteoarthritis. He explains that the treatment of osteoarthritis has to be divided. Medical management along with rehabilitation and physiotherapy should be the first part. And after this if the patient is not better comes the surgical management. He further talks about analgesic and some supplements in medical management. He further will talk about the role of injections in the knee.

Worked extensively in Primary Hip, Knee and Revision Joint Replacement. Took up the public position as Head of Orthopaedics at the Nova Specialty Hospital, Kailash Colony from 2010 to 2014. Visiting Orthopaedic Surgeon in the Fortis Hospital from 2009 to 2014.
