According to the noise regulations, the level of noise is generally measured outside the premises. But in closed environment, the noise emitted is very high. The normal level of noise is generally 60 dB. The telephone ring has a nose level of almost 70 dB. When sound amplifier is used, the noise values are very high. Hence, in large offices, conference halls, hospital OPDs, etc. the noise levels exceeds the limit of 60 to 65 dB.
