In this video, Dr. M.P George, Scientist D, Delhi Pollution Control Committee, will talk about what should be the noise level in different type of locations? In Delhi, the noise committee report has shown that in each location the values are exceeding the normal limits. In commercial areas, the main source of noise is due to the vehicles used. The city has about 80 lakhs registered vehicles out of which 20 lakhs are always on the road. One more major reason for the noise pollution is due to overuse of the horn. Also, people use their audio system at a very high levels.
