What is the role of arthroscopy in osteoarthritis knee?

In this video, Dr. Ramneek Mahajan, Director - Orthopedics & Joint Replacement, Max Smart Super Specialty Hospital, New Delhi, will talk on the role of glucosamine in osteoarthritis knee. It is reported in literature that glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate do not play much role in osteoarthritis knee. Dr. Mahajan further says that they are prescribed as many physicians feel that they might reduce the pain. Also, glucosamine is known to produce hyaluronic acid in the knee but it Ais not scientifically proven. He will also explain the disadvantages of the glucosamine in clotting mechanism specially patients who are on blood thinners.
