Hysterosalpingogram or HSG is an important test to check the tubal patency in females. The procedure is done by the dye and X-ray is taken to visualize whether the dye is coming out from both the tubes or not. If HSG shows blockage of tubes, then laparoscopy is usually offered to such women.
