In this video, Dr. Yash Javeri, Critical care expert, Max Super Specialty Hospital, Saket, New Delhi, will discuss the approach for treating sepsis. He says that it is necessary to treat organ dysfunction, infections and immunomodulate sepsis. He will further talk about the campaigns which need to be organized on the occasion of World Sepsis Day.
He was Senior Consultant at Institute of Critical Care Medicine, Max Super Specialty Hospital, Saket, Delhi. He has done his graduation from Government Stanley Medical College, Chennai, Post-graduation in Anesthesiology from JNMC, AMU and was awarded gold medals during graduation and post-graduation. He was trained in Critical Care Medicine from Sir Gangaram Hospital Delhi in Infection Control from John Hopkins. He started the first specialty hemato-oncology critical care unit and have worked across allied specialties and societies to popularize Critical Care and ISCCM. He have published many articles in Journals of repute. He has also designed the first Intensive Care Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases Course credited with initiating Advance Sepsis Management Course which was later endorsed by Global Sepsis Alliance. He have been involved in various phase three trials and other original research projects. His special interest is in Trauma Critical Care, Infectious Diseases, Extracorporeal therapies Ethics, Adjuvant therapies and Critical care nursing and is presently involved in outsourcing and designing protocols for resource limited settings.
