What will happen if ESR is increased?

When there is active tuberculosis, ESR can be more than 100. High ESR can also be seen in thyroiditis. Also headache or pain in temporal artery or temporal arteritis can have high ESR of 1400 and also internal malignancy can have ESR more than 100.
