Why does the ear keep discharging even after ear surgery?

In this video, Dr. Nishi Gupta, Head department of ENT, Dr. Shroffs Charity Eye Hospital, Delhi, will discuss why the patients keeps complaining post-surgery that the ear is discharging. She confirms that even if the ear is discharging, the ear is safe. Surgery has made unsafe ear into safe ear and the fluid which is collected in the cavity flows out in the form of discharge.
