Why people say that Bili Ka Rasta katna is a bad omen?

In this video, Dr. K K Aggarwal, President Heart Care Foundation of India and Group Editor in Chief MEDtalks, will talk about the bad omen about cat crossing the road. The scientific explanation is that it relates to those era when plague was prevalent. Whenever the cat is seen in a particular area it was denoted that rats must be present in that area and hence the disease. Nowadays leptospirosis etc. are more prevalent. This myth in today’s era is not applicable.
